Archery Room: 3-D Pop-up Bowhunters Challenge
Put your skills and equipment to the test in a simulated bowhunting environment. Pop-up 3D targets plus stationary decoy targets will keep you thinking—you'll never know which target is next or what the distance will be. It's fast, fun and educational, regardless of your skill level.
Friday through Sunday. bring your bow and field tip practice arrows and sign up to compete in the 4th annual 3D Pop-up Bowunter Challenge—a not-to-be-missed event that matches archers against the clock, pop-up 3D targets and other skilled archers.
Turkey Calling and Owl Hooting Workshop/Contest
Learn the secrets of the pros, and compete to win cash and prizes at the Mid-America Open Wild Turkey Calling and Owl Hooting Championships, the largest competition of its kind in the world. Sponsored by the St. Louis Wild Turkey Federation.

Meet Bikini Bottoms' favorite resident! Nickelodeon's SpongeBob Squarepants is making a special appearance at the show. He'll be on hand to greet his fans Saturday and Sunday, from 11am–3pm.
NEW! Adopt a Dog
What's better than an outdoors enthusiast and their trusted canine companion? How about a family and their newly adopted pet! Stop by the Adopt-a-Dog Center and find a new furry friend. Animal Protective Association of Missouri staff and pets will be on site Saturday from 10am–5pm and Sunday from 11am–5pm

Texas Bass Tank
Get a whole new perspective on fishing—from the viewpoint of the fish! This 12-foot tall, 40-foot long mobile glass aquarium is stocked with native fish so you can watch fish react to and even strike different lures during professional casting demonstrations held daily throughout the show! Presented by Berkley.
NEW! Wing-a-Thon Wing Eating Contest
Be here for the kick-off of the show's first-ever wing eating contest, hosted by 101ESPN St. Louis' Sports Station, with wings provided by Buffalo Wild Wings.

St. Louis Herpetological Society Snake and Lizard Exhibit
See and learn about poisonous and non-poisonous snakes in Missouri as well as a number of other native lizards and reptiles. (Saturday and Sunday only.)
Bassmaster Kids Casting Competition
FREE! Kids can compete for prizes in contests held each day by the St. Louis area Bassmasters Association. Winners qualify for the Missouri State Casting Championships held in March at Bass Pro Shop in Springfield, Missouri.
FREE Fishing for Kids at Becky Thatcher Trout Pond
There's no limit to the fun! Catch-and-release fishing pond is a great way to introduce kids to the sport of fishing. It's all free and available every day of the show.
Kids' Cove
Parents, take a break! Interacative play area for young outdoor enthusiasts features hands-on activities, face painting, concessions and seating.
